letting out the secret

I was 10 when I had my first experience with another girl. She was my best friend, and our relationship went on for a couple months, and then we began to realize what we were doing, and began to wonder if we were supposed to be like this. We ended up never talking again, and we both hid it for years always believing people would reject us if they ever found out. I came out a couple years ago, and people are ok with my sexuality, and it really helps to know that people can accept you for who you are regardless of your sexuality. But I haven't told my parents yet, I don;t want them to disown me. Can anyone help?

advice

i was 14 when i started to notice i was attracted to girls and a little l8r saw the looks etc that some where attracted to me too. apon never acting on it it wasnt until i was 19 that it all unfolded.....obv iv been with a male so what im about to say probably doesnt suprise most. infact some of your close gay mates will laugh at this...

i too ended up "with" my best friend. one night breaking out of a 2yr relationship with a guy turned into the next year on with her- my best friend! at 1st we were scared and looked at what had began as stupid/confusing,pos a mistake.....further on weeks passed and it was def. on. we were hot for each other every day.

this year long relationship was the most eye opening honest thing iv ever come to learn about myself, i ended up telling my dad halfway into it-he kinda guessed anyway. but he openly said about time!!! he knew back wen i was 14. now iv slowly but happily been telling more ppl, few family members and friends hey just last night i told my new house mate whom i also have worked with for the past 2yrs.

my mum doesnt know and i dont know if i'll ever tell her, strangly enough mayb pick the parent you feel most comfortable with. that was the easiest opening i found and eventually the rest wont seem so hard.
