Am I too young to come out?

 I'm most likely lesbian (i could be bi), and my friend is too. She says that I should wait until I stop growing to tell my parents because it could be just a phase. But I want to tell them maybe a couple of weeks after I find out for sure and i'm 14, what should i do?
